· 37 years for Senior Scientist
· 45 years for Principal Scientist

Application fee: The applicant has to draw crossed Demand Draft of Rs. 100/- in the favor of Director, National Metallurgical Laboratory, Jamshedpur 831007. The DD should be payable in State Bank of India. SC/ST/PWD candidates, women candidates and departmental candidates (from CSIR Laboratories /Institutes) no need to pay any fee.
