Educational Qualifications: Candidates must possess M.Sc. (Life science/ Botany/ Environmental science) with B.Ed/ M.Ed, NET or M.A.(Education with NET).
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of interview.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess Ph.D Degree with First Class at Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree for Teaching Positions and 2nd class PG in relevant subject for S.No 6 Post and Xth Passed from a recognized board with Diploma in Electronics & Telecommunication from a recognized Institution for S.No 7 Post with relevant experience. Refer notification for Post wise qualification.
Application Fee: Candidates need to pay the fee of Rs.50/- as cost of application form and Rs.400/- as application fee for Teaching positions including OBC and Rs.300/- for Non Teaching Positions in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favor of Finance Officer, Assam University, Silchar payable at UCO Bank, Silchar (Branch Code 2005) or State Bank of India, Silchar (Branch Code 7061). Candidates downloading application form from website will have to pay Rs.450/- for Teaching positions including OBC and Rs.350/- for Non Teaching posts including OBC. SC/ ST/ PWD candidates need not to pay cost of application form, application fees, however Rs.50.00 from SC/ ST/ PWD will be charged as postal expenses only.
Application Form: Application form can be downloadable from the website www.aus.ac.in or from the “Section Officer (Establishment-II)”Assam University, Raja Ram Mohan Roy Administrative Building, Silchar-788011 during office hours on all working days in person.
How to Apply: Interested candidates need to send filled in application form along with Demand Draft, attested copies of all required certificates, mark sheets in a sealed cover super scribed with the name of the post applied for to The Office of the Vice-Chancellor, Assam University, Raja Ram Mohan Roy Administrative Building, Silchar-788011 on or before 17-06-2013.
