Educational Requirements: Ph.D in Physics/Astronomy with a uniformly good academic background, with at least 60% aggregate marks at M.Sc level. The candidate should have interest to work in instrument design and a good knowledge in electromagnetic theory and optics. Familiarity with carrying out analytical calculations and numerical computations is desirable.
