Educational Requirements: A good Master’s Degree in Linguistics or a Language subject with at least 55% of the marks or an equivalent grade of B in the 7 point scale. Candidates having a good Master’s Degree in any other subject should furnish sufficient evidence of being engaged in research in language and linguistics for consideration of their candidature knowledge about the languages of the North-East will be treated as an added qualification.
