Pay Scale: NET + Ph.D. : Rs. 42,000/- p.m. M.Tech. (Computer Science Engineering/ Computer Science and Technology) : Rs. 36,000/- p.m.

Educational Requirements: Assistant Professor as per UGC minimum qualifications for appointment of Teachers and other academic staff in universities and colleges and measures for the maintenance of standard in higher education 2010. Except for Computer Science & Technology - the essential qualification for Assistant Professors is NET/SLET + Ph.D and for Museology, Archaeology and Conservation – the essential qualification for Assistant Professor is Masters in Museology/Archaeology/Conservation/History of Arts.

Qualifications: Good academic record with atleast 55% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/Physically & Visually handicapped candidates) or an equivalent grade of B in the 7 point with letter grade scale at the Master’s degree level, in relevant discipline from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a foreign University.
