RRC Allahabad Recruitment 2013 – Cultural Quota Positions

Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Allahabad has issued notification for recruitment of the 02 posts in Group ‘C’ categories against Cultural Quota for the year 2013-14. Eligible candidates can send their applications on or before 14-10-2013. Other details like age limit, educational qualification, selection process and how to apply are given below….

1. Drama (Play/Skit/Mono act): 01 Post
2. Classical Singer (Male/Female): 01 Post

Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be between 18 to 30 years as on 01-01-2014. Age relaxation will be applicable as per the rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess minimum qualification of matriculation or equivalent examination passed with 50 % aggregate or higher qualification from any recognized Board/ University.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on their performance in written test.

Examination Fee: Candidates have to pay the examination fee of Rs.40/- for GL/OBC category. The examination fee 40/- should be paid in the form of Indian Postal Order, drawn in favour of the Chairman/ Railway Recruitment Cell, North Central Railway, Allahabad Payable at Allahabad. The candidates should write their Name and Address on the IPO. No fee for SC/ST candidates.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates can send their applications in the prescribed format as shown in notification by affixing one recent passport size photograph and attach the self attested copies of the certificates in support of age,caste, educational qualification & cultural qualification and crossed IPO etc enclosed in an envelope super scribed with “Application for Recruitment against Cultural Quota for the year 2013-14” should reach to the Chairman/Railway Recruitment Cell, North Central Railway, Nawab Yusuf Road, Valmiki Chauraha, Allahabad (U.P) Pincode –211001 on any working day (Monday to Friday) between 09.30 hrs to 17.30 hrs on or before 14-10-2013. The last date for receipt of applications for residents of Andaman & Nicobar, Lakshadweep Islands is 29-10-2013 up to 17:30 hrs.

Age Limit: Candidates age limit is 18-33 years as on 01-07-2013. Relaxation is applicable as per the rules. Refer notification for category wise age limit.

Eligibility Criteria: Ex-Servicemen who have retired after putting in 15 years of service and have passed Army Class-I certificate or equivalent or Matric or equivalent or higher qualification will be considered eligible.

Selection Process: The recruitment shall be on the basis of scrutiny of applications and the Ex-Servicemen should be medically fit for the job being considered for. The panel will be formed primarily on the basis of Ex-Servicemen’s length of Military Service.

How to Apply: Interested candidates must send applications in the prescribed format along with self attested photocopies of Army Class-I certificate, Ex-Serviceman Identity Card, Community Certificate, Discharge Certificate, PPO and other relevant certificates, one passport size photograph affixed enclosed in an envelope super scribed with “Application for Recruitment against Ex-Servicemen Quota” so as to reach The Assistant Personnel Officer, Railway Recruitment Cell, Balmiki Chauraha Nawab Yusuf Road, Allahabad-211001 through ordinary post or must be dropped in the box kept in the office for the purpose on or before 08-07-2013 by 17.30 hrs.
