JKPSC Recruitment 2013 – 109 Assistant Engineer Vacancies: Jammu & Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has advertised notification for recruitment of the 109 Assistant Engineer vacancies in Public Works (R&B) Department on contract basis. JKPSC Vacancy Details:

1. Assistant Engineer (Civil): 76 Posts
2. Assistant Engineer (Mechanical): 33 Posts
Age Limit: Candidates minimum age limit should be 18 years and maximum age limit should not exceed 37 years as on 01-01-2013. Age relaxation will be applicable as per the rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or AMIE Section (A & B) India (Civil Engineering) for S.No.1 Post, Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or AMIE Section (A & B) India (Mechanical Engineering) for S.No.2 Post.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on their performance in the interview/ Screening Test.
Application Form: Candidates have can obtained the application form from the office of the J&K Public Service Commission, Polo Ground Srinagar/ Resham Ghar Colony, Bakshi Nagar, Jammu on cash payment of Rs. 500/- (excluding processing charges of Rs.10/) in respect of General Category candidates and Rs. 250/- (excluding processing charges of 10/-) in respect of Category candidates through the counters of J&K Bank opened in the offices of J&K Public Service Commission at Polo Ground, Srinagar/ Resham Ghar Colony, Bakshi Nagar, Jammu from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm on all working days.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates can obtain their application form and attach the passport size photograph duly attested by the Gazetted Officer and send along with photo copies of date of birth certificate, Educational Qualification Certificate, Registration certificate etc mentioned in the notification to the office of the J&K Public Service Commission, Polo Ground Srinagar/ Resham Garh Jammu on or before 15-11-2013. Screening Test for Short Listed Candidates will be held on 23-02-2014.

Eligibility Criteria:
Age Limit: Candidates upper age limit should not exceed 45 years as on 01-01-2013. Age relaxation is applicable as per Govt. rules.
Educational Qualification: There is different-different academic qualification for different posts. Candidates are recommended to read official notification for post wise educational qualification for HPPSC various vacancies.
Candidates must possess the qualification of Medical for Medical related posts while Engineering degree is necessary for Engineer posts.
Application Fee: General and other unreserved category candidates need to pay Rs. 400/- while SC/ST/OBC and other reserved category candidates will have to pay online Rs. 100/- as application fee.
Selection Procedure: Eligible Candidate will be selected based on their performance in Written examination, viva-voice test / Screening Test and Interview.
