CBSE CTET 2014 Important Dates

CBSE CTET 2014 exam dates is already declared on www.ctet.nic.in, now candidate can check CTET 2014 important dates and deadline of application formadmit card, hard copy send, application status, fees submit dates etc. CBSE CTET 2014 online application form may be filled online before 31st October 2013. The written exam of CTET 2014 will be conducted all over India at various centers on 16th February 2014.
CBSE CTET 2014 Important Dates
The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is scheduled to be held on 16 February 2014. The candidates will be appointed as Primary Level Teacher: Classes I-V or Junior Level Teacher: Classes VI-VIII according to their performance in written examination.





Important Dates of CBSE CTET 2014
  • Start Date of Submitting On-line application: 11th October 2013 to 31th October 2013
  • Closing Date for Online Submission of application: 31st October 2013
  • Last date for receipt of Confirmation Page in: 07th November 2013
  • Last date for receipt of Confirmation Page  for candidates belonging to Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura, Lahaul and Spiti District and Pangi Sub-Division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman & Nicobar Island and Lakshadweep: 15th November 2013
  • Date of Examination: 16th February 2014



CTET 2014 Exam Pattern/ Scheme

BSE CTET 2014 Written exam pattern/ Scheme has been uploaded on the official website www.ctet.nic.in. CTET 2014 exam pattern, no.of questions, negative marking, total marks, duration of exam details is also given. CBSE CTET 2014 exam will be based of Objective question (MCQ’s) with no negative marking. There will be two papers (Paper1 and Paper 2). CTET 2014 Paper 1 will be for Primary Teacher (1st Class to 5th class) and CTET 2014 paper 2 will be for Junior Teacher (6th class to 8th Class). CBSE CTET 2014 examination will be held on 16th February 2014. Eligible candidate can apply through online application form before 31st October 2013. More details are below:

The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2014 written exam will conducted on 16 February 2014. The Selected candidates will be appointed as Primary Level Teacher for Classes I-V or Junior Level Teacher for Classes VI-VIII after evaluating their performance in the written examination.

The CTET examination will contain objective type Multiple Choice Question (MCQ’s). There will be no negative marking. There will be 2 papers of CTET.
(i) Paper I: The candidates who are eligible for classes I to V teacher.
(ii) Paper II: The candidates who are eligible for classes VI to VIII teacher.
Note: A person who are eligible for both levels (classes I to V and classes VI to VIII) will have to give both the papers (Paper I and Paper II).

The questions in the test for Paper I will be based on the topics prescribed in syllabus of the NCERT/CBSE for classes I – V but their difficulty standard as well as linkages, could be up to the Secondary stage
