UGC NET Dec 2013 Extended/ New Dates

This is a good news for many candidates, University Grants Commission (UGC) has extended the UGC NET/ JRF December 2013 online application form, bank challan print, feed submission dates.  UGC NET Dec 2014 new/ extended dates online check. UGC NET dec 2013 previous last date was 30th October 2013 but now candidate can fill theapplication form and download the challan by 4th November 2013. More details about the last date to submit UGC NET Dec 2013 application fees(news dates) etc. are below:




The University Grants Commission announces holding of the National Eligibility Test (NET) on 29th December 2013 (SUNDAY) for determining the eligibility of Indian nationals for the Eligibility for Assistant Professor only or Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Eligibility for Assistant Professor both in Indian universities and colleges. UGC will conduct NET in 79 subjects including Santali new subject (listed under item no. 9) at 84 (Eighty Four, including five new centres) selected NET Coordinating Institutions (listed under Item no. 10) spread across the country. The result of the UGC-NET to be held on 29th December, 2013 will be made available on the UGC websites: www.ugc.ac.in  and  www.ugcnetonline.in as and when it is declared. The candidates will not be individually intimated about their result.
  • Last date for Applying Online & generation of filled Bank Challan for Fee: 4th November 2013
  • Last date of submission of Fee through online generated Bank Challan, at any branch of State Bank of India (SBI):7th November 2013
  • Last date of taking printout of Application Form, Attendance Slip and Admit Card from UGC website: 10th November 2013.
  • Last date for receiving the printout of online Application Form (one copy) and Attendance Slip (one copy) at the respective Coordinating University opted by the candidate: 14th November 2013

CGLE Tier 1 2013 Written Exam on 28th April 2013

SSC Combined Graduate Level Exam (CGLE) Tier 1 Postponed new dates of Exam 28th April 2013, SSC CGLE tier 1 exam dates problem, clash with sbi po 28th April Exam too. SSC CGLE written exam of northern region was on 14th April 2013, but now due to some unavoidable circumstances the exam has been postponed notification details on sscnr.net.in ssc.nic.in.
CGL Tier 1 14th April 2013 exam is postponed/re-scheduled to 28th April 2013. More details are below :

CGL 2013 Tier1 was about to be conducted on : 14th April 2013 and 21st April 2013, but now due to some problem the exam which was going to happen on 14th April 2013 is shifted to 28th April 2013(Sunday).
Problems to the Candidates : 
There is a big problem, now candidate will be facing :
a) 2 days before the exam notice, SSC Official are changing the exam dates,
b) On 28th April 2013, there is SBI PO written exam . Which is also very important to the candidates.
In view of the above 2 problems, The number of candidate in exam will reduce (ssc gle 2013 tier 1).

National Talent Search Examination 2013 NTSE 2013 Application Form Download

National Talent Search Examination 2013 - National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) is going to organize the National Talent Search examination for Level II.
NTS examination is held for 8th to 10th class and top 1000 (One thousand) will given a standard scholarship per month that is Rs. 500/- by NCERT. NTS examination is organized into two sections. Now NTSE II Level will conduct on 13th May 2013. Applicants who were applied in NTSE I Level they get ready for giving NTSE second level examination. 

NTSE Stage I:

In first section, examination was organized in district level of different states on different dates. National Talent Search test was held in November. Only applicants who qualified the first stage are eligible and will be invited for second section by NCERT.

NTSE Stage II:

In the second section, examination is organized on national level and has a fix date in India. Qualified applicants will move for second section and the written examination will be held on 13th May 2013 in all over India at 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. Also examination will be in Hindi/English/Telugu/Urdu for different regions. 

Reservation:

·         15% scholarships are reserved for those students who are belonging to the SC category.
·         7.5% scholarships are reserved for the ST categories students.
·         3% scholarships are reserved for Physically Challenged Group of Students.

Scheme of NTSE Exam level II:

NTSE Stage II exam will contain 100 questions out of which 90 MCQ (multiple choice questions) and 10 are subjective. There is no prearranged syllabus for NTSE.

IAS 2013 Exam New Pattern/Format and Syllabus

New IAS 2013 Exam pattern, Syllabus and discussion. What are the changes in IAS 2013 | New Exam Pattern for IAS 2013 | IAS 2013 Marks pattern/format.
IAS ( Indian Administrative Services) of Civil Services are the combined written exam conducted by the UPSC. There has been changes in the IAS 2013 Exam format/pattern.

In a significant move, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has approved the changes in civil services exam pattern. Now, the new format will give more weightage to General Studies. Implementation of these changes will affect the fate of over four lakh civil service aspirants looking to take the exam this year.
So far, the examination has General Studies Paper I and II of 300 marks each, including Compulsory and Optional subjects. As per the new changes, both the general studies papers will have more weightage.
The new pattern aims to decrease the importance of optional subjects and increase focus on general studies. This will reduce any advantage a candidate could have over highly scoring subjects being taken as optional papers.  General studies have about 50% weightage while optional subject about 25%.
Papers in the main examination:
  • Essay and language papers (same as before)
  • Four papers of general studies (earlier two)
  • Two papers of optional subject (earlier four papers in two subjects)
New Mains exam pattern:

The government had been keen on having an overhaul of the Civil Services exams after it introduced Civil Services Aptitude Test (CSAT) in 2011.
Aspirants make way into the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS) and others through the Civil Services, which is a three-tier examination scheme. The first is the preliminary exam, an objective-type exam which serves as a screening test. Those who clear this are entitled to appear for the subjective-type main examination. About one-fifth of those who take the main examination are called for a personality test.
The panel headed by former UGC chairman Arun S Nigvekar had recommended doing away with the optional subjects, and replacing these with compulsory papers.
In an effort to make the exam even more relevant with the present day, UPSC may soon allow candidates to take the exams in languages not included in the Eighth Schedule of the Constitution or in English.
