Age Limit: Candidates upper age limit should not be exceed 35 years for Asst Professor and should be below 30 years for Asst Professor (on contract). Age limit for all the posts shall be determined as on the last date of receipt of application. Age relaxation will be applicable as per the rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Ph.D and should have relevant experience for Professor and Associate professor post and ME/M.Tech  for Assistant Professor (on contract) Post. Ph.D. degree with first class (6.5 CGPA) at both UG and PG levels for Non-Engineering disciplines and for the departments of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Humanities, Ph.D. degree in appropriate discipline is the essential qualification.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on their performance in interview. The final selection will be made on the basis of the recommendations of a Medical Board / Officer being appointed for examining the physical disability.

Application Fee: Candidate has to pay the application fee of Rs.600/- (Rs.300/-in case of SC/ST candidates) in the form of Crossed Demand Draft drawn in favour of “The Director, National Institute of Technology Nagaland” payable at the Chumukedima, Dimapur from any Nationalized Bank.
