Goa University Recruitment 2013 – 72 Teaching Positions: Goa University has posted employment notification for the recruitment of 72 Teaching Positions on regular basis in various subjects. Total No. of Posts: 72
Name of the Posts: Teaching Positions
1. Professor: 24 Posts
2. Associate Professor: 28 Posts
3. Assistant Professor: 20 Posts
 
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess eminent scholar with Ph.D. qualification(s) in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline and published work of high quality with relevant experience for Professor, Associate Professor and Master’s degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University and good academic record with 55% marks with qualified NET/ SLET/SET for Asst Professor.
 
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on interview.
Application Fee: Candidates need to pay Rs. 500/- (Rs.250/- for SC/ ST Candidates), US$ 50 for candidates from abroad in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of the Registrar, Goa University payable at Panaji, Goa.
 
How to Apply: Eligible candidates can send their applications in prescribed format downloaded from the web site http://www.unigoa.ac.in along with attested copies of all certificates, testimonials, DD Form shall be submitted to the Registrar,GoaUniversity on or before 31-10-2013.
 
Last Date for Receipt of Applications: 31-10-2013.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Ph.D. qualification(s) in relevant discipline and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of 10 publications as books and/or research/policy papers .Master’s Degree level in relevant subjects from an Indian university or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university and must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like LET/SET. Refer the notification for post wise educational qualification details.
Application Fee: Candidates has to pay the application fee of Rs.500/-, Rs.250/- for SC/ST candidates and US$50 for candidates from aboard. The fee should be paid by Demand Draft drawn in favour of the Registrar, Goa University payable at Panaji, Goa.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on their performance in interview.
 
How to Apply: Eligible candidates can send their applications in seven copies along with attested photocopies of the degree or diploma certificates and statements of marks or other certificates in support of their educational qualifications and experience and of the matriculation of equivalent certificate in support of their age, caste certificates and application fee to the Registrar, Goa University, SPO Goa University, Taleigao Plateau Goa 403 206 as to reach on or before 06-08-2013.
Last Date for Receipt of Applications: 06-08-2013.
