BSF Recruitment 2013 – 196 ASI Sub Inspector, Head Constable & Constable Vacancies
Border Security Force (BSF) has issued a recruitment notification for the recruitment of ASI, HC and CT Posts. Applications are invited for filling up 196 ASI (Steno), Head Constable (Ministerial) and Constable (Daftry) Vacancies on temporary basis. Eligible candidates can send their application in prescribed format within 30 days from the date of publication of Advt. Assistant Sub Inspector (Stenographer): 25 Posts
Constable (Daftry): 12 Posts
Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 18 years to 25 years for ASI (Steno) & HC (Ministerial) posts as on 01-01-2014. For constable posts upper age limit should not exceed 23 years. Refer to official recruitment notification for more detail. Age relaxation will be applicable as per the rules.
Educational : Candidates must have passed Intermediate or Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) examination for ASI and Head constable posts, and Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board or Institution for Constable posts. Candidates also can write Shorthand @ 80 words per minute in English OR in Hindi for 10 minutes for ASI posts, Typing @ 35 words per minute in English OR @ 30 words per minute in Hindi corresponding to 10500 KDPH in English/ 9000 KDPH in Hindi with average of 5 key depressions for each word on computer for Head constable posts.
Application Fee: General and other unreserved category candidates are required to pay Rs. 50/- as the examination fee while SC/ T, Women and Departmental (BSF) candidates are exempted from paying application fee.
Application Fee should be paid through the crossed Bank Draft /Indian Postal Order in favour of the authority to whom the application is addressed, payable at respective SBI/Post office at the location.
Selection Process: Selection of candidates would be selected based on their performance written examination, Physical Measurement, Short Hand Test, Typing Speed Test, Documentation, Medical examination and interview.
How to Apply: All those candidates who wish to apply for ASI, Head Constable posts in Border Security Force (BSF) they are required to send their application in the prescribed format along with fee receipt, self-attested photo copies of educational qualifications and date of birth, three photos and attested copy of Valid Caste certificate to recruitment center as mentioned in notification within 30 days from the date of publication of Advertisement.

Eligibility – Job seekers who want to apply for BSF jobs they must have graduated from reputed University/Institute with good academic record with desired experience.  Candidates are asked to go official advertisement for further more information Assistant Sub inspector eligibility criteria.
