Visva Bharati University Recruitment 2013 – Various Vacancies

Visva Bharati Santiniketan invites applications for the recruitment of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor Posts. Visva Bharati Vacancy details:
Name of the Posts:

Age Limit: Candidates upper age limit is 45 years for S.No. 1 Post, 40 years for S.No 2 Post; 35 years for S.No 3 Post. Relaxation is applicable as per the rules.
 
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess Masters degree or M.A (Education) and B.Ed or Ph.D in Education for S.No 1 Post; Masters degree and M.Ed or M.A (Education) and B.Ed, M.Phil/ Ph.D for S.No 2 Post; Masters degree and M.Ed and must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test for S.No 3 Post with relevant teaching experience.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on interview.
Application Fee: Candidates must pay the fee of Rs.800/- for S.No 1, 2 Posts; Rs.800/- for S.No 3 Post and 25% of above mentioned fee for SC/ ST candidates in the form of Demand Draft drawn on State Bank of India, Santiniketan branch (2121) in favor of Accounts Officer, Visva-Bharati. Physically handicapped candidates are exempted from the fee.
Application Form: Candidates can obtain prescribed application form in three ways
By Post: Application form will be made available if written request sent along with a self addressed & stamped (Rs.15/-) envelope, prescribed application fee to Registrars Office, Visva-Bharati, Santiniketan-731235.
By Hand: Candidates can obtain application form from Registrars Office, Visva-Bharati, Santiniketan on submission of Cash Coupon of required value purchased from Cash Section, Accounts Office, and Santiniketan of the University.
From Website: Candidates can download prescribed application form from the University website www.visva-bharati.ac.in
How to Apply: Interested candidates can submit duly filled in original applications in teh prescribed format along with 12 photo copies of filled-in form, one set of attested photo-copies of all relevant certificates, mark sheets & other testimonials, two recent passport size photographs, Demand Draft (in case form is downloaded from website) so as to reach Registrar’s Office, Visva-Bharati, Santiniketan-731235 (W.B) on or before 30-07-2013 by 6.00 PM.
Last Date for Submission of Application: 30-07-2013 by 6.00 PM.

Visva Bharati University Vacancy Details:
Total No. of Posts: 10
Name of the Post: Library Professional Trainee.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Graduate Degree from any discipline with BLIS (having 60% marks, 55% in case of SC/ST) or its equivalent degree, both from any Indian University or recognized Institute.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on the performance in Interview/ Personality Test. Written test may be conducted on the basis of the number of applicants.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates can send their duly filled in original applications form along with one set of attested photo-copies of testimonials/certificates and one recent passport size photographs (non-returnable) signed in full (at the bottom), to ‘The Prof.- in-Charge, Central Library, Visva-Bharati, Santiniketan – 731235’ or can submit the same to the office of the Central Library on all working days except Sunday and Wednesday (weekly holidays) and other National Holidays from 10 am to 5pm within 14-06-2013.
